DCS² Rules
DCS² is needed and required for combat.
Do not remove your DCS² during combat or immediately after.
You are a target and welcoming combat if your DCS² is active (/9on).
If you do not want to engage in combat, go noncombative with /9off if you have not already been attacked.
Do not harass noncombative players to set their meter to a combative state so you can fight them.
Do not attack someone that is not wearing a DCS or is noncombative.
Do not use methods to unfairly camp for XP
Combat Rules
Combat is not allowed in the following areas, these are "safe zones"
The Information Center and landing dock in Toxia
The Haven Bar in Toxia
The DCS Store in Toxia
The Port Authority and landing dock in Toxia South
The "Entry / Information Center" in Toxia South Edge
The Shelter in Toxia South Edge
When initializing combat, you should be in the realistic view of your opponent. This means...
Sniping is not allowed
Do not shoot in the back to initialize combat
Exception A - They try to run after they realize you are after them
Exception B - You have been role playing with them in a threatening way and they turn to walk off (example: YOU: "You bastard you killed my mother!" OPPONENT: "So the fuck what" turns as he rolls his eyes giving a "shooing" motion with his hand and begins to walk away) - A scenario like this .... shoot the fucker.
Do not continuously hunt down a single individual, revenge once is enough.
You must have some valid "in character" role play reason to attack someone. This means...
Engaging in combat "out of character" (OOC) is not allowed. This means...
~Killing sprees are not allowed. You must have some valid in character RP reason to gun people down. "I'm evil", "I'm crazy", "I'm a homicidal maniac" are not valid reasons to randomly attack people.
Do not go afk in the city for more than 15 minutes, all our players are live and active.
Players are not monsters. If you have nothing to do with the rp of a fight, do not jump in. No ganging up. Do not use teleport as an option to bring your friends to help you in conflict situations. - It's not realistic
Jump enhancers are not allowed during combat. Run enhancers and teleporters are NEVER allowed including omniphaze or anything similar.
