Avatars

Accessorizing your Character

We want our city to be realistic and we support many races. So you have many options to choose from for accessorizing. Hybrids are not allowed. Disruptive avatars that do not meet the city’s atmosphere such as giant bananas, giant tacos, space aliens, and any animal like avatar that doesn't’t some how at least sort of fit into the races will be considered griefing and will be asked to change or be removed from the SIM. Also, we categorizes avatars in this respect: if you look like a cat - you’re a neko, you look like a dog or fox - you are a werewolf, you look like a reptile - you are a type of demon. Please accessorize accordingly to the race you choose on your DCS².

:Humans: - Primary Definition: Homo Sapiens

Humans - Victims? Vigilantes? Outlaws? Food? Humans in Toxian City have no magical powers, mutations, or implants. The majority of our humans are tough as nails though, they have to be to survive these streets. Some coming from military backgrounds, martial arts backgrounds, or just from the harsh mean streets of the toughest cities. Some may be running from the law, came to check out the legends, accidentally ran across Toxia, or perhaps even grew up here. Less skilled Humans may have protectors, or have bargained their protection in exchange for other things.

Using mostly make shift weapons, swords, knives, and guns as protection. You may run across the occasional human that has managed to get their hands on something enchanted and been trained to use it's powers. But for the most part, if they get their hands on one, the enchantments have no effect.

Normal human skin colors and tones
Normal human body parts
Without any magical or psychic powers
No cybernetic enhancements

:Vampires:
- Primary Definition: Blood Consumer

"Either way they are blood suckers and feed off just about anything in the city, you got blood, those vampires will take it, hell they even feed off each other sometimes, crazy shift I tell you. Don't matter where either, they will dig those fangs of theirs in just about any place on your body where there's a thick vein. "

"Fangs? Oh yeah, they have fangs, some of them even got pointy ears. They ain't just pale either, some of them look like you or me, some have black and gray skin, some are pale as ghosts. No wings or tails though and they don't turn into bats" chuckles ," that's just in the movies. "

"Protect yourself? Well, damn garlic don't work for sure, nor will a crucifix, hell they wear crucifixes. You don't need to drive no damn wooden stake through their heart neither, if your quick enough with a sword or gun, that'll slow them down, at least enough to get away, but you gotta be quick. But be careful, some of them are much stronger than others, probably best to just run if they are after you."

Looks Human with exceptions:

Wings - Feathery - pure white, varying degrees of gray to black flecks or spots, or black wings

Possibly floats above the ground a foot in a hover instead of a stand or walk

Certain parts of their body may glow

creatures will abnormal mutations, in order to play a mutant you must be one of the races we already have mutated. This is not a catch all for races we don't have

Werewolves- This includes anything from Werewolf to Fox avatars (this does not mean play a fox, just if that's the only thing you have as clothes, you will still be a werewolf) Only natural fur colors please

Mystics are Humans with magic or psychic abilities. They do not have abnormally colored skin or pointy ears. Think the movie Practical Magic or the Witches of Eastwick, modern day witches. Wiccans where the magic actually works.

Whether it causes disruption to role play or causes the SIM to become unstable

Toxian City is in Louisiana, and the default language here is English. When players speak in another language in a highly populated role play area, or any area for that matter and others do not understand it is very distracting and can seem spammy even if it is role played. We please ask that if you have difficulty with English to use a translator.

Do not use gadgets that make you speak in some made up language like "Demon". These have been highly abused to talk about people in front of them plus if people do not understand you its not very conducive to role play.

Toxian City is a very popular game, the more avatars you have in a SIM, the more scripted items you have, the more scripted items you have the more unstable a SIM becomes. Attachments such as huggers, Xcite, or extra weapons should be detached when not in use at that moment. Anything with a scanner or radar is banned, please do not use them. If the SIM becomes too unstable the GMs may do inspections of each avatar, beware.

For a complete list of banned weapons and gadgets, please follow this link.

Please do not use gestures and sounds which spam the SIM, disturb the role play and generally annoy other players... You'll be asked to stop or limit the use of such gestures and/or sounds..

Meows or growls that fit your character race are very fun and are very much allowed, just please do not use them excessively.

Shouting is fine in an In Character nature, occasionally, but do not do it regularly.

Absolutely NO child avatars are allowed in the city. No arguments and no exceptions. If you show up with a child avatar you will be asked to change or leave. This is an adult SIM, with adult themes and child avatars have no place here. It does not matter if you aren't engaging in sexual activities, other people are and are very much in character, and seeing a child witness your dirty deeds can be very disturbing.

Absolutely NO AgePLAY allowed, period. Ageplay is pretending you are a child, whether you look like one or not. You are not even permitted to have age play in your profile, we use profiles here to define a character played and "show off" what we are in to. Walking in here belonging to an ageplay group is like you are advertising you are seeking ageplay.

Sexual acts with or around childlike avatars is considered child porn even in Second Life, charges can be filed and you can go to jail in real life. And, yes this has happened somewhere in Second Life and was in the news.

Minimum Avatar height is 4 feet 11 inches.

There are two reasons for this...

Your bounding box on your avatar gets smaller when you get shorter, making you harder to hit, creating an unfair advantage.

Because of the aspect ratio of building in 3rd person, things are created much larger in Second Life, making an avatar under 4'11 seem childlike.

We try our best to have something for every fetish. Please do not WALK around the city with your genitals hanging out. Doing the nasty in an alley is one thing, walking around completely naked is another. We’ll warn you and ask you to stop. You have clothes, wear them. Nipples showing through clothes is fine, hell we like it.

This rule is directly mainly at newbs walking around with their cocks out saying "wanna fuck" or people standing there RPing with you normally with their dick out being an ass. No one ever said you couldn't show tits and ass, just please leave the prim pussies and cocks for the stage or the toys. BUT if the RP calls for it, if it really fits, then by all means. This was more of a common sense rule.

There are a few exceptions to this rule.... For Werewolves, Demons, dark mutants, an avatar with a very dark skin and very dark genitals may wear them around, but if not in actual use, it shouldnt be erect

- FORCED FANTASIES -
Is exactly what it is says, all forcing is a fantasy. We are a consensual role play SIM, but that doesn't’t mean your role play can’t depict you’re being forced

Some machines can use an AO hovering walk replacer, but should never hover higher than you would normally stand, or travel faster than the normal walking or running.

Jump enhancers are allowed for traveling purposes only; i.e. going from one end of the sim to the next, jumping on top of buildings. NEVER during combat. Wall climbers are allowed as well. Run enhancers and teleporters are not allowed including omniphaze or anything similar.

Please do not use an oversized avatar or attachments that are not normal avatar size. Examples include oversized robots and oversized wings. If your avatar does not realistically fit through a door without it having to partially pass through a wall or cannot sit in a chair properly then it is way too big.
